The Vex VRC Maryland State Championship was held at Sollers Point/Dundalk High School on Saturday, 04-March. Sixty teams from high schools and clubs all around Maryland went head-to-head for 15 invitations to the Vex VRC World Championship to be held in Louisville, KY at the end of April. Kayley Kiesel, captain of Super Sonic Sparks’ Team 24B, earned one of those spots by posting one of the highest Programming+Driver skills scores of the day. The other Sparks VRC Team, 24A, fought hard but failed to qualify for Worlds.
